In a change from my last Open Studios, I'm bringing back prints. I will only do a few 8.5x11" or smaller to gauge interest. Additionally, I'll have some fun postcards and stickers for sale which I'm quite excited about!
I'm excited and proud to also offer some of my digital illustrations for sale as prints. Insofar as I have an 'audience' at Open Studios, I am known for my watercolor paintings, and not so much my more illustrative work which tends to be (although not exclusively) digital. I know including such radically different art is probably not best practice for building a 'brand', but I'm curious to see people's responses.
'Branding' has always been a conundrum for me and maybe that comes from being an illustrator. When I put that particular hat on I'm often called on to pull off radically styles over a variety of subject matter. The fact is, I do a lot of different things and I enjoy really do enjoy that variety.
